All kinds of excellent casting news for the second season of MTV’s “Teen Wolf” has been revealed. Woo! Three more actors have joined the previously announced Stephen Lunsford, Michael Hogan, and Daniel Sharman, and you just might recognize the newbies to the Teen Wolf pack.
First is Bianca Lawson, who you may know better as Emily Bennett from “The Vampire Diaries.” We will now see her as a recurring character in “Teen Wolf” as Ms. Morrell, Beacon Hills high school’s guidance counselor who becomes an ally to many characters.
On top of “The Vampire Diaries,” Lawson has appeared in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and more recently, “American Horror Story” and “Nikita.” She also has a seven-episode arc coming up on “The Secret Circle.”
Two other new faces for Season 2 include Gage Golightly (also known as Tessa, the bully at Juliet’s public school in “Ringer”), who will play the role of a tough girl who transforms from ugly duckling to swan, catching the eye of all the boys and wolves in town, and Sinqua Walls (Friday Night Lights) as Boyd, a shy loner who is hiding a secret.
What do you guys think of the new additions to the show? I’m looking forward to learning about this mysterious loner they are adding. How excited are you about the upcoming season?
