Wolfman Money and Stuff(ed Werewolves)

It’s from the ONION, a satire site, so it’s not real. Too bad. I’d like to own one of these Universal Monsters “Monsters of the Silver Screen” $20 bills. One presumes that all the Universal Monsters would be represented, but the image they chose to offer us is of the Wolfman.

I mean, if you really wanted one you could photoshop one for yourself. It would be relatively easy to do it (just ask any counterfeiter how easy it is to reproduce money) but that’s beside the point. The collector in me wants to buy one and frame it, not *make* one. I could always just print out this photo and blow it up, then print it out, if all I wanted was a facsimile. Oh, well. And I see that it’s an old article, too, from Halloween several years ago. If they were going to create any of those bills they would have done so by now.

In completely unrelated news, except that this also involves a novelty item related to a werewolf, have you seen the werewolf figure available from Build-a-Bear? It’s adorable. If you want the fully tricked-out version, though, it’ll run you nearly forty bucks. Maybe if I printed out a pair of those werewolf twenties and paid for it with them that’d work? Depending on what teenybopper they had manning the store that day, he might not even notice.
