Why did Bigelow Sell Skinwalker?

This is an issue that has troubled me since I first became familiar with all the deets about Skinwalker Ranch. If all the stuff going on there is legit, if it really is happening (and I believe that it is), why would Robert Bigelow have ever chosen to sell the property, to leave it? Why wasn’t it locked down and locked up the way Area 51 is, with the guvment making sure nobody knows anything about what goes on there? This would seem to be ammunition for the skeptics. “If there was anything to it,” they might argue, “then Robert Bigelow would never have let it go.” So why did he?

From some of the things I’ve read from people who were involved, I think I’ve gleaned the answer. If Bigelow truly believed he had learned all there was to know from the Ranch, then yes, he might choose to sell it to someone else who would continue to study it while he, Bigelow, went on to work on other things. Bigelow may have come to the conclusion that there is a limit to how much we, human beings, *can* ever learn about the phenomena. It’s possible to learn enough to know that you’ve learned not all there is to know, but all you are capable of comprehending. It’s as good a theory as any.
