Who Would You Like Me to Interview?

One of my absolute favorite things to do is to interview people, and I do it often over at Vampires.com – I have interviewed bestselling authors, TV producers, movie directors and so on, but here at Werewolves.com we’re lacking interview love. So it’s time to let your voices be heard! What werewolf author, director, actor… etc. would you like for me to interview for you?  While I am damn good at nabbing interviews, I am not a miracle worker, so please don’t ask for an interview with Taylor Lautner or something. I’m not that good.

Now before you pick who you want me to look up, take a peek at the interviews I have already done here, I may have already spoken to someone you love:

Ryan Mecum
Ryan is the brilliant poet behind the fantastic books “Werewolf Haiku,” “Vampire Haiku,” “Zombie Haiku” and so on. If you haven’t checked out any of his books I highly suggest picking one up (and reading the interview I did with him), his books are amazing!

Andrea Cremer
Andrea is the bestselling author of the young adult werewolf novel “Nightshade.” I was lucky enough to chat with her on her widely popular book and more.

Paul Jessup
I was thrilled to interview Paul on his illustrated story “Werewolves.” Art and werewolves! Yay!

The Werewolf Cathedral
This was definitely one of the most challenging interviews I have done. This was the first and only time I have interviewed a religious organization.

Lisa Hendrix
Lisa is the lovely author behind the Immortal Brotherhood series, a collection of romance books on various types of shapeshifters, including wolves.

Lucien Black
Lucien is a new author and was kind enough to let me ask him about his book “Outcast: Where Angels Dwell,” a tale of werewolves, angels and vampires.

Now that you have seen who I have already interviewed, who do you want me to interview next? Don’t get your hopes up though, I may not be able to get the interviews you want, BUT if I do manage to get an interview with whoever you’re asking for, what questions would you like for me to ask them? Let me know in a comment below!

  1. Interesting. Perhaps you could manage to interview someone who claims to be an actual werewolf. It would help me with my book, seeing as I want to be as “true to life” as possible.

    1. Facinating. I seem to present some of those same traits too. Though I never instinctively know when the moon is full. I just have a certain like for it, almost like I go into some sort of state of peaceful thought. Does that mean I’m of Wolven blood?

  2. karenjo davis, you just found one person like you… but i garente you aien’t like me and my pack… riley, john, leah( not from new moon), and jordan… My pack is like family and they realy are.

  3. I was thinking that an interview with an academic would be pretty cool. Someone who knows a ton about werewolves and werewolf lore and werewolf history, who’s dedicated their lives to studying them.

I think most of the people I’d like to read interviews with are dead now, but I really love Kelly Armstrong’s book ‘Bitten’, so that’d make a cool interview. Or of course J.K. Rowling on Remus Lupin, because he’s my favourite werewolf of all time. It’d be cool to hear about the way she percieves werewolf characters because there’s a lot of difference between Lupin and Greyback.

Karenjo, I think the hair is probably more to do with celtic ancestry, and some people can tell the full moon without looking because it’s brighter. I have a friend who often can’t sleep at the full moon simply because it’s too light and his curtains don’t block it out well enough. Personally I think that everyone’s a werewolf. If the werewolf is ‘the beast inside’ then yes, we all have that. The fear of slipping backwards into an unconscious, bestial state creates fear of such creatures. The wolf is our hidden nature, passions that take control over reason. And the changing nature of the werewolf in literature and popular culture relates to the changes in the way we see ourselves and humanity.

So I guess Dahmer was a werewolf in that way. I watched an interview with him, and seriously he sounded like the sweetest guy. I wanted to wrap him in a blanket and feed him cookies. And then you realise that he’s talking about injecting acid into peoples’ brains.

Sorry for the mini-essay. I’m just a little obsessed with werewolves at the moment <3

  4. Perhaps the auther of Wolfbreed and Wolf Cross, Swann I think is her name. They are very interesting books with Wolf Cross being my preference of the two. they both take place in medieval Eastern Europe and have a bit of everything for werewolf fans. Just a sugggestion.

Another idea would be an academic as has been suggested which if they cannot be found perhaps one who has studied the effects of the moon on behaviour? Or maybe a cryptozoologist? There was a piece done by the History Channel where they sent an excop and a cryptozoologist to investigate the Beast Of Gaudevain.

  5. One of my absolute favorite authors is Donna Boyd. She is the author of The Passion, an amazing story that goes deep into werewolf culture and experiences. The second book is called The Promise.

  6. I would particularly enjoy an interview with Stephanie Meyer if possible. I want to know her inspiration behind Twilight, how she thinks of werewolves or anything else she thinks might be needed. This i know is highly unlikely but you know, it could happen.

  7. Thanks for all the input! I’ll see what I can do, but remember, no promises. :)

Although, I can guarantee one thing, there’s no way I’d be able to get an interview with Stephenie Meyer.

  8. karenjo davis, you just found one person like you… but i garente you aien’t like me and my pack
    …………..
Then we are not the same. I’m a loner because I don’t run in a pack. You say I’m not like you and your pack. I came over here to tell the truth and not have to start defending myself right away…I don’t think anyone here understands me but that’s ok…..I can’t sit around and tell werewolf storys. I can only talk about the now, my ways of a werewolf… which is slim….

  9. If you look up top on the page there will be a link that says “Discussion” click it to chat to one another. Please try to stay on topic in posts.

  10. Just to let you all know, I have been working on getting the interviews you want :)
I have been in contact with one publisher so far, and hopefully the author they work for agrees to the interview.
