There is another werewolf film in the works! Late Phases is the upcoming flick, a MPI/Dark Sky Films production, which is set to be directed by Adrian Garcia Bogliano (Here Comes The Devil, Penumbra). It was recently announced that the film has found its leading man, and that man would be Nick Damici of Stake Land fame (first a vampire movie and now a werewolf movie, my kind of actor). Shooting for Late Phases is set for spring, so it’ll be a while before we get to enjoy this one. For now, check out the details on the flick.
Late Phases will tell the story of Ambrose McKinley, who moves into a community where the residents have been dying in increasing numbers – oddly, all have supposedly been the victims of dog attacks. But after barely surviving his own attack on his first night there, Ambrose discovers that the assailants are much more than canines.
In an interview with Shock Till You Drop, the director said, “I don’t get to read many scripts, but this is the best thing I’ve read in a long time. It’s a werewolf story and it’s exciting because of the focus of the story and the focus of the action. And it’s exciting to work with Dark Sky Films again. I’m working with Zack Zeman who is producing and I’m thrilled.”
What do you think? Are you excited about Late Phases?
