Werewolf Goodies for the Kindle!

After years of saying that there was no way in hell I’d ever own an e-book reader, I now have my very own Kindle – and I LOVE it! Don’t get me wrong, I still adore real paper books, but the Kindle definitely has tons of bonuses, like the fact that you can get loads of books for free or for ridiculously cheap. Which is what brings you today’s post, here’s a look at the free and inexpensive werewolf books for my fellow kindle owners out there.

The Book of Were-Wolves by Sabine Baring-Gould
This classic was originally published in 1865 and remains the most important and most often cited book on lycanthropy. It may be old, but it’s definitely fascinating.

The Wendigo by Algernon Blackwood
There are many versions of the Wendigo, in some it’s a force of nature, in others it’s a beast similar to a werewolf. In this horrifying classic the Wendigo is never physically described, but in spite of that, many still label it a werewolf story.

The Were-Wolf by Clemence Housman
Another classic, this story was originally published in 1896. About a ravenous female werewolf who appears in the guise of a seductive femme-fatale before transforming into a wolf to devour her unlucky male victims.

That concludes the free classics. Here are some cheap books by newbie authors.

Beast Next Door (Beast Brothers) by Chance Valentine

Silver Moon by T.L. Mitchell
In this book, the inhabitants of the sleepy little town called Gladys could rest at night, wake up in the morning and go to their jobs, living their lives as normal. The police would report another animal attack and look for some wild creature capable of doing such a terrible thing. Over time the truth will fade and turn into myths. No one would ever believe a werewolf existed. It’s just a myth-right?

Hunter: Secrets Revealed (Ways Of The Pack) by A. M. Reed
About a girl named Hunter whose normal world is turned upside down when she meets a strange creature and befriends him. She is forced to get past her anti-social, paranoid ways and face the fact that not everyone in the world is evil and out to get her as she attempts to solve the mystery surrounding her father’s disappearance, all while still facing the challenges high school presents.

There are quite a few more cheap werewolf books in the Kindle store, but these were the highest rated, so if you’re looking for even more, there are LOTS.
