My favorite television show has returned to the airwaves! (I just finished up THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, which was ah-may-zing, but it doesn’t qualify as a TV show by my definition. No livestreaming show qualifies. And even if they did, I can’t. Livestream, that is. I had to watch the program on a bootleg DVD. So that’s yet another reason why it doesn’t count as a “TV show”. Thus THE SECRET OF SKINWALKER RANCH easily wins the award as my favorite program.) I didn’t realize how much I’d missed it. Tuning in last night, it was like seeing an old friend. And I’m glad to know—not that I ever for one second had any doubts about it—that the Ranch is still as “active” as ever.
Personally I would have titled this last episode “Where’d the Water Go?” They pumped hunnerds of thousands of gallons of water down this hole, but couldn’t figure out where said water went. It didn’t come out in any of the Ranch’s water sources (they know because they put this neon green dye into it) and when they dug into the hole with a backhoe they found the dirt devoid of any excess moisture. This suggests an underground tunnel or passageway into which the water had drained. Oh, and the Ranch decided to show off a little by hacking one dude’s cellphone.
Hurry up, next Tuesday!
