TWIN PEAKS Goes to Graceland

It’s an unconventional choice, but would we really expect anything less from TWIN PEAKS? The official 30th anniversary celebration of the cult TV phenomenon will be taking place at Graceland and not in Washington State, where the series was filmed. Why? Why not! And series creator David Lynch is a big Elvis Presley mark, so there’s that. It’s appropriate.

From the press release: “The Twin Peaks 30 Fan Celebration Is A Weekend Unlike Any Other – An Unforgettable Fan Experience Featuring Stars From The Show In Attendance At Twin Peaks-Themed Parties Along With Panel Discussions, Live Music, Screenings Of Fan-Favorite Episodes, And More. Guests Will Have The Opportunity To Fully Immerse Themselves In Some Of Their Favorite Moments From The Series Courtesy Of Exhibit Displays, Reimagined Set Pieces And A Variety Of Other Interactive Activities That Attendees Will Have Access To Throughout The Weekend. Of Course, Cherry Pie And ‘Damn Good Coffee’ Will Also Be On Hand!”

Sounds great, and Memphis is a lot closer to me than Washington State. Unfortunately, given how expensive even the cheapest of tickets are, they might as well be holding this thing on the moon—which would also be appropriate. Maybe more appropriate than Graceland.

The event will take place April 3rd through the 5th, if you have more money than I do.

This convention is all well and good, but when are we gonna get some news about SEASON FOUR?!
