The Parents Television Council, or PTC, has labeled the recent season debut of AMERICAN HORROR STORY the “most vile and shocking content . . . ever seen on TV.” Then, because they didn’t have enough to be morally outraged over, they attacked SCREAM QUEENS, urging advertisers to boycott these series. Because somebody has to think for the rest of us, and protect us from things evil and vile in our entertainment choices. We aren’t smart enough to do it for ourselves.
There aren’t many opportunities for me to loose my unrestrained vitriol against an opponent. With politics, no matter how much I disagree with a particular viewpoint, I try to see things from the opposing point of view and at least be respectful of the others’ opinions. Where censorship is concerned, though, I can be as harsh as I want to be and feel no moral compunctions against it. Those morons really are that anathema to all I believe in and dangerous to our American way of life. Groups like PTC and One Million Moms are comprised entirely of idiots too lazy to change the channel if they see something they don’t like, too lazy to raise their own kids. They want the government to do all that for them, all too willing to repeal that pesky First Amendment. Hey PTC. Hey OMM. I’ve got two words for ya. The first one starts with an F and the last one is “you.” Surely even a bunch of imbeciles like you can figure that one out.
