THE SECRET OF SKINWALKER RANCH: The Wrap-Up

There are those who will insist the show is fake no matter what, just as there are people who will swear the earth is flat and that we never went to the moon. We shouldn’t even waste our energies trying to convince those people of anything, people for whom belief, or in this case non-belief, has become a choice, period, rather than something gained or lost based on evidence and experience. I won’t deny the show resorts to some light kayfabe every now and then. The fact that they were on about the helicopter again with this week’s season finale episode, when the helicopter has been explained away, is a good example of that. But the phenomenon taking place out on the Ranch is 100% real. If it weren’t, you’d have to believe that numerous scientists and the Attorney General for the State of Utah are in on the scam. And they’re talking now of launching a satellite the orbit of which will cross the Ranch, and going through the university to do it so that NASA will take the satellite up with them on a future mission for free. So, government agents, the Attorney General, numerous scientists, NASA, a university—how deep do the doubters think the pockets of the History Channel are, that they can afford to pay off so many people? Nonsense. (Also, the phenomena at the Ranch has been going on for decades before the show aired, so there’s that, too.)

I enjoyed the “recap” season finale—and please let it be only the season finale! They’d better renew this show! Thus far no decision has been announced, but how could they just leave it like that? The investigations are just getting started!
