The Real Deal?

This is a case of the man Bill Ramsey, “A true story of demonic possession” and is detailed in a book called “WEREWOLF”.

I was watching an episode of Sally Jessy Raphael sometime in the early 90s when I first saw Bill Ramsey, the “real life werewolf.” Those were bad years for me, the early to mid nineties. I spent most of that time ensconced in my home, crushed down by an overwhelming depression, unable to do much. I watched a lot of TV, having nothing else to pass the time (except sleep), and since we only had rabbit-ear network programming, that meant lots of inane talk shows. This one, though, was interesting—and chilling. I don’t know if I believed it, but I believed it enough to be creeped out.

Ramsey’s case, famous in occult circles, was handled by Ed and Lorraine Warren, the ghostbusting couple who inspired the film THE CONJURING and its less successful spinoff, ANNABELLE. Back then I didn’t know who they were. Back then I remember watching Ramsey and thinking how normal he seemed. This was no wackjob seeking publicity. My estimation was that he was telling the truth—at least the truth as he believed it to be. Was he really a werewolf? I still don’t know if I believe that. But I still believe it enough to be creeped out by the idea.
