I remember back when I was a kid and LEGOs were nothing more than colored blocks, that’s it, just… little blocks. Nowadays though, LEGOs kick ass! A few years back my brother had this rad pirate LEGO set, it was pretty sweet and took him hours to build. Yeah, that totally didn’t exist when I was little. You can get any kind of LEGO set you want now – Star Wars LEGO sets, Atantis sets, Harry Potter set, Knights and dragons sets – everything! And now, thanks to their new MiniFigures line, you can even have a werewolf LEGO. Hurray for mini werewolves!
Here’s the catch though, the mini figurine LEGOs are collector items and they come in random mystery bags, so, you have to keep buying them until you get the one you want. According to the official LEGO website:
“Collect all 16 new minifigures!
Get your hand on an all new lineup of LEGO® minifigures! Collect all 16 individual minifigures, each in a sealed “mystery” bag with special accessories, display plate and collector’s leaflet. This cool collection includes: The Monster, Surfer Girl, Sailor, Kimono Girl, Punk Rocker, Viking, Ice Skater, Hockey Player, Street Skater, Hazmat Guy, Musketeer, Werewolf, Artist, Crazy Scientist, Soccer Player and Lawn Gnome.
Only 1 of 16 individual minifigures in each package. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for specific minifigures.”
They even have bio pages for each figurine. From the werewolf bio page:
“Whenever the full moon rises high in the night sky, the Werewolf undergoes a startling transformation into a half-man, half-beast creature. Unable to control his primal instincts, he rampages across the countryside, terrifying all who encounter him!
…Okay, he actually just digs holes, buries chew toys in the yard, and romps around the park fetching sticks. It’s all a little embarrassing for the Werewolf, so if you happen to see him running around in circles trying to catch his own tail, please try to act scared. It’ll mean a lot to him.”
Aww how cute. So, any LEGO fanatics here? Will you try to score the werewolf?

I already have 4 of this minifigure with a 5th on the way. I’ve also the werewolf minifigure from back in the early 2000 that’s the Lego Studios line for the Werewolf’s Ambush…. I’ve got the Professor Lupin Minifigure too from the Harry Potter LEGO set -Lupin’s Classroom…. and I plan later to pick up the HP LEGO set The Burrow and Diagon Alley each of which as Greyback in it.
Very nice!
I wonder how long the lego movies will come out after this.
