I’ve got another book for you werewolf readers to check out – The Abused Werewolf Rescue Group by Catherine Jinks! It’s an upcoming young adult novel that sounds pretty kick ass, check out the details.
“When Tobias Richard Vandevelde wakes up in hospital with no memory of the night before, his horrified mother tells him that he was found unconscious. At Featherdale wildlife Park. In a dingo pen.
He assumes that his two rambunctious best friends are somehow responsible, until he discovers that they’re just as freaked out as he is. Then the mysterious Reuben turns up, claiming that Toby has a rare and dangerous ‘condition’. Next thing he knows, Toby finds himself involved with a strange bunch of sickly insomniacs who seem convinced that he needs their help.
It’s not until he’s kidnapped and imprisoned that he starts to believe them – and to understand what being a paranormal monster really means.”
According to Catherine Jinks’s official website, “This title will also be available in the United States (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) in Spring 2011 and in the United Kingdom (Quercus), date to be announced.”
I know I say this a lot, but this book sounds great, it’s definitely one that I plan on picking up. Unfortunately we have a few months to wait for this one. That seems to be the deal with all new werewolf books lately, a couple dozen vampires books are released every month, but on a few werewolf books. Lame!
Back on topic! What do you guys think of The Abused Werewolf Rescue Group? Is it the type of werewolf book you’re interested in? It’s not yet another cheesy teen romance novel, but a book with a little more depth (or so it sounds), that’s a plus.
Tell us what you think in a comment below. Yay or nay?

While it’s a young adult novel, this one does sound like a book I’d read.
With so few Werewolf books out there, it’s easier to read them and determine which ones are the good ones.
I’ve liked some of the werewolf romances, some of them have been good. Mainly like Brigg’s Alpha and Omega series where there’s more going on then raging hormones.
it’s a book i’ll get
see if its good in book stores.can you review this when you’re done?
I haven’t read the book, but if I do then yes I’ll post a review.
