Strippers Vs. Werewolves Finally Coming to DVD

The long talked about film Strippers vs. Werewolves is finally coming to DVD. The campy action flick full of vicious werewolves and voluptuous has been on the minds of horror buffs for well over a year now and at long last they can sate their cravings for some B-grade goodness. There’s a little bit of a wait though since the film won’t be released until September 25, 2012. It’s not too long though.

Check out the movie details below:

“When a werewolf leader is mistakenly killed within a seedy strip club in the darkest parts of London, the monsters decide to take revenge on the ‘dancing talent’ and return in full force and hungry for blood.  The cast boasts a host of British television talent including Martin Kemp, Billy Murray, Simon Phillips, Steven Berkoff and a little treat in the form of a cameo from the man of your dreams himself, Robert Enlgund.”

According to director Jonathan Glendening, audiences will “hopefully [see the film] as a silly fun romp. After all, if you choose to see a movie called Strippers vs Werewolves – you’re not expecting a Mike Leigh movie are you?  Though, I would like to see that! There are two main elements to the title so hopefully it’ll deliver on those…for an audience that wants to see werewolves and strippers not necessarily in that order.”

I’ll admit that this isn’t really my type of movie, but it sounds like it could be a fun ride. I’m sure there are many that will love this flick. I mean, it had boobs and werewolves after all.

Anyone here planning on picking up a copy of this DVD?

  1. i saw it on pay-per-view (time-warner cable), it was not as bad as i thought it was going to be, it was a tad hokey in places, but then i expected that, it’s called strippers vs. werewolves after all, but it was a lot better than i expected, and there’s even a cameo of a couple of vampires in it (one of the strippers has a boyfriend who claims to her he knows how to kill vampires and he’s trapped a ghost in a mirror, and guess what? he does know!) but it is mostly werewolves/strippers
