STRANGER THINGS Country, Part Three: The Battle of Starcourt Mall

Starcourt Mall in Hawkins is really Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, Georgia. It’s a beautiful mall, but it’s a ghost town these days, y’all, and not because of the ‘Rona pandemic. Almost every store in the place is closed.

Alas, I did not see the Mindflayer.

The place has an almost spooky vibe to it. Like I said, a ghost town.

The parts of the mall used for the filming of season three are roped off, but they look just like the rest of the mall now. Nothing remains from the filming except the mall’s bones.
(And maybe the spirit of the Mindflayer!)
