If they are STEP siblings, then they aren’t really guilty of incest. I mean, there’s depraved and then there is depraved, am I right? And these two are plenty depraved enough without the incest angle. Then again, they DID commit incest, and necrophilia at the same time. They just didn’t commit it with EACH OTHER. To summarize, the two, twentysomethings Karen Klein and Leandro Acosta, were not related to each other by blood, but they were raised by the same parents. Thus, for the two of them to be romantically involved (“Dating for several years,” the article states), while highly inappropriate, wasn’t illegal. Murder, necrophilia, cannibalism and abuse of a corpse, yeah, THOSE are illegal.
Oh, did I fail to mention the cannibalism? Yeah, it seems Leandro confessed to eating parts of his stepdad, in addition to the necrophilia. His lawyer, as you’d expect, is trying to argue that Acosta was insane, driven to such extremes of behavior by years of abuse, but police believe the motive was financial gain. So this pair of wilding sickos is guilty of plain old greed, too. Sheesh, does their shared application for getting into Hell really need any more padding?
