My One Degree of Separation To WOLFCOP
I had this friend—she was more the friend of my at-the-time girlfriend (now wife)—who was, if I’m being charitable, a wee bit naïve. (Were I being uncharitable, I’d say she was as dumb as a fencepost.) My girlfriend-cum-wifey and I went on a double date with her and this goober we named Gomer, who was so obviously full of it and a complete con artist. (Naturally our dumb friend married the loser.) Gomer and the ditz don’t have anything to do with WOLFCOP, but that first date does. We went to a STYX concert. I’m only a marginal fan of the band, but I remember being impressed with how much the new lead singer of the group sounded like Dennis DeYoung. That new lead singer was Lawrence Gowan—
—who played “Organo” in ANOTHER WOLFCOP. I have therefore been in the same building with a guy who was in the cast of ANOTHER WOLFCOP! Okay, so it isn’t exactly one degree of separation, but I like to think of it that way. And be honest, now, how many of you knew that the guy who played Organo in the movie is also the lead singer of STYX? Well, now you do.
