MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’ Pack Grows for Season 2

Casting for Season 2 of MTV’s hit series Teen Wolf has begun! The show won’t be back with new episodes until summer, but while we wait for the upcoming second season we can get excited over new developments.

The network just announced that Battlestar Galactica’s Michael Hogan, Private Practice’s Stephen Lunsford and The Nine Lives of Chloe King’s Daniel Sharman have been added to the cast for the series sophomore season.

Hogan will play Allison’s (Crystal Reed) grandfather, Gerard, a lethal werewolf hunter who tries to convince her to join the big bad family business.

Lunsford will play Matt, a teenager with an eye for photography who has a thing for Allison and will compete with Scott for her affections.

Sharman will play the role of Isaac, a troubled student and member of the lacrosse team who will be given a “unique gift” by new Alpha, Derek.

The series, which averaged 1.7 million viewers, will also add a new female character to the mix. There is no word yet on who this actress will be and what part she will play on the show.

The new trio joins returning regulars Tyler Posey (Scott), Crystal Reed (Allison), Tyler Hoechlin (Derek), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), Holland Roden (Lydia) and Colton Haynes (Jackson).

Production on Season 2 just began in Atlanta.

We still haven’t been filled in on what Season 2 will be all about. All we do know is that it’s werewolves and werewolves only – no vampires.

Are you guys excited about Season 2 of Teen Wolf? What do you think about the new characters?
