More Werewolf Books Coming July 2013

A few days ago I wrote about the magnificent werewolf books coming out this July. Then today I accidentally discovered more werewolf books hitting bookstores this month. I blame this on publishers for not using proper tags when uploading books to book sites (tag the werewolf books as werewolf books so fans can find them!). Anyway, there are some big bestsellers coming out, so take a look.

MacRieve (Immortals After Dark) by Kresley Cole
macrieveIn this pulse-pounding Immortals After Dark tale, #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole delves into the darkest mysteries and deepest passions of Clan MacRieve. . . .
A BEAST IN TORMENT
Uilleam MacRieve believed he’d laid to rest the ghosts of his boyhood. But when a brutal torture revives those ancient agonies and destroys his Lykae instinct, the proud Scot craves the oblivion of death. Until he finds her—a young human so full of spirit and courage that she pulls him back from the brink.
A BEAUTY IN CHAINS
Seized for the auction block, Chloe Todd is forced to enter a terrifying new world of monsters and lore as a bound slave. When offered up to creatures of the dark, she fears she won’t last the night. Until she’s claimed by him—a wicked immortal with heartbreaking eyes, whose touch sets her blood on fire.
A FULL MOON ON THE RISE
With enemies circling, MacRieve spirits Chloe away to the isolated Highland keep of his youth. But once he takes her to his bed, his sensual mate becomes something more than human, evoking his savage past and testing his sanity. On the cusp of the full moon, can he conquer his worst nightmare to save Chloe…from himself?
Coming out July 2, 2013.

Forsaken By the Others (H&W Investigations) by Jess Haines
forsaken by the othersHave a one night stand with a vampire, and you can end up paying for it for eternity. P.I. Shiarra Waynest, an expert on the Others, knows that better than most. Yet here she is, waking up beside charismatic vamp Alec Royce with an aching head…and neck. Luckily, Shia has the perfect excuse for getting out of town – namely, a couple of irate East Coast werewolf packs who’d like to turn her into a chew toy. On Royce’s suggestion, Shia temporarily relocates to Los Angeles. But something is rotten-literally-in the state of California, where local vampires are being attacked by zombies. Who could be powerful enough to control them-and reckless enough to target the immortal? Following the trail will lead Shia to a terrifying truth, and to an ancient enemy with a personal grudge…
Coming out July 2, 2013.

Affliction (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter) by Laurell K. Hamilton
afflictionBook 22 in the never-ending series (which has many werewolf characters).  Some zombies are raised. Others must be put down. Just ask Anita Blake. Before now, she would have considered them merely off-putting, never dangerous. Before now, she had never heard of any of them causing human beings to perish in agony. But that’s all changed. Micah’s estranged father lies dying, rotting away inside from some strange ailment that has his doctors whispering about “zombie disease.” Anita makes her living off of zombies—but these aren’t the kind she knows so well. These creatures hunt in daylight, and are as fast and strong as vampires. If they bite you, you become just like them. And round and round it goes… Where will it stop? Even Anita Blake doesn’t know.
Coming out July 2, 2013.

And there you have it – more werewolf books coming out this July. MacRieve will be the biggest release for sure. I had never heard of the Immortals After Dark series until recently, but it has a HUGE fanbase. As for Anita, well, I gave up on that series years ago. But who knows, maybe Hamilton has finally redeemed herself.

Any books from this list or the other list that you plan on checking out?

    1. I take it you would recommend Immortals After Dark series to other readers? I am curious about it. Sounds almost like the Dark Hunters series.

      1. its different but similar in that each book is from the point of view of a different character. I read the dark hunters series too. I like these a bit better but I read them all back to back when I was ill to pass the time. if your not sure grab one from a library. some were better than others.
