Jason Momoa on His Role in the Upcoming Film ‘Wolves’

Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian, Game of Thrones, Bullet to the Head) latest role has him covered in fur, something new for him. Why fur? Because he’s playing a werewolf in the new David Hayter film, Wolves.

wolves“It’s like Drogo [from Game of Thrones] in a wolf suit,” Momoa says. “It’s pretty primal. It’s the kind of werewolf movie we haven’t seen in a while.

“It’s my first time wearing full prosthetics. I wanted to attempt it, just so I could say I never want to do it again.”

Haha! Yeah, wearing a full werewolf suit does not sound enjoyable. I am curious about this being a different kind of werewolf movie. Hmmm…

Official description for “Wolves:”

“Cayden Richards, 18, has it all: Captain of the high school football team; straight-A student; gorgeous girlfriend. But when he wakes one dark night to find his parents brutally murdered, he is horrified to realize that he is turning into an animal: a wild, savage wolf. Panicked, Cayden runs, determined to find out what is happening to him. His quest leads him to the strange, isolated town of Lupine Ridge, where two clans of wolves are on the brink of war. The opposing clans are lead by Connor, the powerful, pure-blood alpha of a savage pack and John Tollerman, an old farmer, committed to protecting the human citizens of Lupine Ridge. But when Cayden falls for Angelina, the beautiful, young mate promised to Connor, a battle to the death is inevitable. And as the past begins to reveal itself, Cayden’s place in the world becomes clearer – as does his power to put an end to the savage violence building up around and within him…”

    1. Do you have a single nice thing to say? You have left a couple dozen comments today and every single one of them is childish and negative.

  1. I can not wait to see him as a werewolf. Just love him. Unfortunately, there are very few pictures and certainly no cutouts on the WWW from the movie. Thanks for keep looking. Lucky for those people who were at Comic Con and now know more of the movie.
