HAIR OF THE DOG tells the story of an Alcoholic Werewolf

Well, why not? Sure, it might sound a little silly, but so did WOLFCOP, and that one ended up being pure cinematic brilliance. Not that I’m certain HAIR OF THE DOG is supposed to be a comedy or parody. It’s described as “a new perspective on a classic tale by bringing a twist of horror elements to an intense emotional drama.” Intense emotional drama sounds good, too. I dig intense emotional drama. Throw in a werewolf and it becomes so much better, as do most things, honestly. Drawing parallels between the addiction of alcoholism and the scourge of Lycanthropy could work as a pretty powerful metaphor.

I don’t know much more about the project, except that the monster looks pretty cool, albeit with a certain poofy bouffant hairdo. That could be just a trick of the camera. If not, though, a film featuring a werewolf with big hair is pretty much guaranteed to get me to watch, so no worries. Filmmakers Michael Butts, Scott Crain and Will Cassidy need a little help to get this off the ground, so visit their Gofundme page at the link below and consider making a donation. Every dollar puts another hair on the werewolf!
