You may have seen this image floating around the Internet. It’s one of those almost guaranteed to have the details get lost, to the point where no one seems to know where it originated, whether it’s supposed to be from real life or from some movie, etc. In fact that’s already happening. For the record, then: the photographs were taken by a man named Scott Yeoman in Bailey County, Georgia, in 2017. So what do you all think? Is it real? Is it a hoax? Is it somebody playing a prank on the photographer?
I don’t know Mr. Yeoman. But I do know people who know him, and the people I know, who are honest, trustworthy people, in my opinion, say the same thing about Mr. Yeoman, that he is an honest man and is not lying about what he photographed. This would lead me to suspect that, if anything, Mr. Yeoman was the victim of a prank, not the perpetrator. It is worth mentioning, though, that the window at which the creature appeared is well over eight feet off the ground, so any hoaxer would have had to have brought a ladder.
I like this second picture, here, as the creature doesn’t look nearly as frightening. Curious, perhaps even friendly, with soft, humanlike eyes.
