It IS a genuine mystery, is it not, how you always see shoes on the side of the road, but it’s just one shoe at a time? Think about it. Have you ever seen TWO shoes, two halves of a set, together on the roadside? I haven’t. It’s always just one. As if there is some strange rift in the space-time continuum, sucking in shoes and dividing the pairs, depositing them singly in different places, all to mess with the minds of those people who are observant enough to notice. Now, though, we may know where all the mates to all those shoes are going. They’re washing up on beaches in the American Pacific Northwest. “That’s all interesting and stuff,” you may be thinking, “but isn’t this a site dedicated to WEREWOLVES?” And you’d be correct. There’s a twist to this narrative that earns it inclusion here, where under the banner of straight-up Lycanthropy we touch upon such sub-grouped subjects as murder, cannibalism, people getting eaten by animals and what have you. What is this “twist?”
The shoes still have the feet inside of them. Severed feet. Decomposing feet.
If this happened only a few times it wouldn’t be a curiosity. There are a lot of people in the world and a lot of people go missing. Happens all the time. A lot of bodies get disposed of by taking them out in a boat and dumping them in the ocean. But why are only the FEET being found? And why is this happening so often? And why are they usually only RIGHT feet? Are all the left ones lying on the side of a road somewhere?
