Eclipse Re-released in Theaters Today

That’s right Jacob Black fans, you get to see his sexy body in theaters all over again! But why you may ask – because of Bella Swan’s birthday of course. Yeah, the movie is be re-released in theaters because of a fictional character’s birthday… and because theaters like money. Her birthday is actually on the 13th but theaters dig the Friday release.

Twilight’s official Facebook page sent a message out saying, “In celebration of Bella’s birthday, ECLIPSE will be re-released in theatres nationwide this Friday! It’s your last chance to see it on the big screen with your friends.”

As most of us know, in Eclipse, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and  her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life. Bum bum buuuum!

Now, this may seem like good news to you Twi-hards out there (YAY HALF NAKED WEREWOLVES ON THE BIG SCREEN AGAIN), but in reality, the longer it’s in theaters the longer you have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Personally, I’d rather have a movie I love on DVD, that way I can watch it over and over again – plus special features rock. So Twilight fans have an even longer wait now, sorry guys.

But what do you folks think? Any Twilight fans here planning on hitting the theater again to ogle Jacob’s goodies?  What about the Twilight haters out there, what do you think about the big birthday encore? Let us know in a comment below.

    1. Yeah, just another excuse for money.
Apparently they haven’t milked it enough though, because there’re still teenage suckers who’d pay to see it again, which accounts for like more than half of the actual DVD price if you add whatever else is bought.
