It doesn’t look that scary to me, honestly. The creature in the photograph looks to have T-Rex arms. But I might well have felt differently had I seen it while driving down Bray Road during my recent trip. Looking at the photo more closely, the creature’s right arm, or right forelimb, looks skeletal, denuded of flesh. So is this a zombie werewolf? It also appears the creature’s fur is sloughing off from the “waist” down. So could this photograph really show the legendary Beast of Bray Road?
An email was sent to WISCONSIN FRIGHTS from a guy named Danny Morgan on January 29th. It read as follows: “Hey, I took this photo Saturday night in Elkhorn north of Lake Geneva after hitting a couple bars with my buddy…I told my brother I saw a wolf run across the road on its hind legs, figured the full moon just causes animals to act weird or I scared it but he said there are werewolves in Elkhorn.” Not everyone is convinced the photo is genuine, though. Said Seth Breedlove of Small Town Monsters, whose company produced the documentary on the Bray Road Beast: “I could’ve come up with something way better than this. It looks like someone’s German Shepherd out for a stroll.” It kinda does, yeah. A German Shepherd with mange and a skeletal right foreleg.
