Cartoonist Stephen Byrne Creates ‘The Animated Adventures Of Buffy’

Check out the intro to ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ through the eyes of Stephen Byrne

Stephen Byrne, (absolutely love his work) has created a ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ an animated video, or a “short” of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ the way he sees them. You can watch it on his YouTube channel, just type in Stephen Byrne, and it should pop up for you to select. It’s more of an intro to the show, but its simply amazing and leaves you hopeful there will be more to follow. The cartoonist talks about his inspiration for this animation, “No other TV show has impacted me as much as Buffy so it seemed like the logical choice for me.” Stephen Byrne has also created ‘The Animated Adventures of Dr. Who.’ Check it out, and leave us a comment letting us know what you think of it. Remember share it with your friends, maybe if it becomes popular enough we could get him to expand on this as a full cartoon series. How awesome would it be for this cartoon to become a weekly reality?

That would be awesome. He seems to be very talented and as a fan of the show he would probably do a very good job with the story. I would love nothing more than for him to do a full Buffy web cartoon but I wont get my hopes up, I have already had my hopes dashed twice(with the original animation getting cancelled before it started and with the Buffy online RPG also getting cancelled before it was made). As for whether it is popular enough, I think it is safe to say that the animation wouldn’t have any trouble in that department as the “intro” has already received more views than most proper web series episodes.
