HORRORHOUND WEEKEND is a traveling convention, although you probably knew that already. It gets lots of press coverage. It’s a Rondo Award winner! (See this week’s post over at darkness.com for details on the Rondos, if you don’t recognize THAT name, either. You probably do. Heck, go on over to our sister site, anyway.) Anyway, the HORRORHOUND WEEKEND is coming to Indianapolis, Indiana this September, so check it out if you’re anywhere in the area. (Sadly, I am not.) As part of the festivities over the three days of the convention, you can check out the HORRORHOUND WEEKEND FILM FESTIVAL. Or, even better, if you’re a moviemaker, you can actually be a participant in it!
Organizers are currently accepting entrants for this year’s competition. If you have a movie you’d like to debut at the convention, check out the rules and submit it at https://filmfreeway.com/festival/HorrorHoundWeekendFilmFestival. (Tell ‘em the Cheezman sent ya.) If your film is selected, you’ll be in fine company indeed. Past year’s have seen the first screenings of NIGHTBREED (The Director’s Cut), LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, and MONSTER BRAWL. Awards will be, um, awarded for best picture, best short, best director, actor, actress, and special effects. Get that celluloid spinnin’, folks! The bloodthirsty hordes are waiting!
