Andrea Cremer’s ‘Bloodrose’ Out Now

Bestselling Andrea Cremer’s Nightshade series has been a huge hit among the werewolf-lovin’ teens for quite a while now, and at long last, Bloodrose, the third and final book, has been released for your reading pleasure. Hurray! I had the joy of interviewing Andrea a long while back (read the interview here) so I am pretty excited to announce the release of her latest book. Check out the details on Bloodrose below.

Book description:

“Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is. In this remarkable final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, international bestselling author Andrea Cremer crafts a dynamic novel with twists and turns that will keep you breathless until its final pages.”

I still haven’t been able to read the Nightshade Trilogy (I have the most ridiculously long to-read list ever), but I’m definitely looking forward to it. I have heard all sorts of amazing things about these werewolf books.

Also, if you’re currently a fan of the Nightshade Trilogy and are bummed that it has come to an end, worry not, for more are on the way. Yes, this particular storyline is over, but as Andrea said in my interview, there is a prequel on the way. According to her official website, there are actually two more books on the way – Rift and Rise. Rift is currently slated to be released August 7, 2012, and the website description says, “Before Calla Tor, there was Ember Morrow.” So while Calla’s story is over, there’s more to come.

Any Nightshade fans here? Are you excited about the new book and the books to come?

  1. It doesn’t seem like it’s already time for this trilogy to end! I’m like you, my to-read list is ridiculously long, and I still haven’t managed to get to the second book yet. But Nightshade is definitely one of my favorite books. Why Calla is attracted to Shay is lost on me, though, but the world Andrea Cremer created makes up for that; it’s like none I’ve ever read before. :)
