Amanda Carlson’s Action-Packed Werewolf Series

I just discovered a werewolf series I never knew existed! Hurray for new books to read! The Jessica McClain series by Amanda Carlson is a new success that is receiving rave reviews from readers all over. The best part – werewolves are the stars of the series! Book one, Full Blooded, was released a few months back, as well as the prequel e-novella Blooded. The next book in the series, Hot Blooded, comes out this April. Check out the details below:

Description for Full Blooded:

“It’s not easy being a girl. It’s even harder when you’re the only girl in a family of werewolves. But it’s next to impossible when your very existence spells out the doom of your race… Meet Jessica McClain — she just became part of the pack.

In the vein of Kelley Armstrong and Patricia Briggs, a new urban fantasy that rewrites the werewolf myth…”

Description for Hot Blooded (coming out April 23, 2013):

“It hasn’t been the best week for Jessica McClain.

Her mate has been kidnapped by a Goddess hell-bent on revenge — but Jessica is playing for keeps.

Because she’s the only female werewolf in town…it comes with its own set of rules…and powers.

Aided by two vamps, two loyal Pack members, and one very reluctant human, Jessica must rescue her man while coming to terms with what being a wolf really means.

All in a day’s work for a girl.”

This series has been added to my to-read list and I look forward to checking it out. What do you think? Will you give the Jessica McClain series a shot? It sounds like it could be a kickass werewolf series (here’s hoping it’s not 100% romance though).

  1. Over the summer I started reading the series “Howl” by Jody Morse. It was your typical teen para romance but the Werewolf storyline and the twists are really interesting. I love what she did with it and highly recommend it.
