A Visit to Keeper’s Korner

I’d poked my head in the door once before, briefly, when I visited the Arx Mortis haunted attraction in Killen, Alabama back in 2017, but hadn’t really had a chance to “experience” it then. My recent visit at the end of November in this year of the ‘Rona found the haunt itself closed for the season, but the shop, a separate business located on the grounds, hosting a Christmas open house. Keeper’s Korner was bigger than I remembered it, or else they just had more stuff. (Maybe it just looked bigger when there weren’t people packed into it like sardines, as they were the first time I dropped by.)

Sasquatch welcomes you!

They’ve got a Feejee Mermaid!

It’s a good thing for my pocketbook that Keeper’s Korner isn’t closer to me, geographically, else I’d be in there every weekend. The place is Heaven for me. They’ve got all manner of curiosities, fossils, knives and swords, taxidermy, collectibles, masks, jewelry, all Horror-themed and all awesome. Friends, if you’re ever passing through the area, make it a point to visit Keeper’s Korner. It is well worth your time.

They will let literally *anybody* in!
