Get ready Twilight lovers! The small town of Forks is about to be overrun with a vampire army, and the blood will flow! Thank to the werewolves.
In the new Eclipse trailer, which recently premiered on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), are forced to put their differences aside for a bit to take down the ruthless Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) and her newborn vampire army.
The newest Eclipse trailer really shows the darker tone that was evident in The Twilight Saga’s third book – there’s more action, more drama and more bloody chaos. The trailer gives us a first look at Victoria’s ferocious vampire army – including her right-hand-man Riley, played by newcomer to the Twilight flicks, Xavier Samuel.
Most importantly, the werewolf fans also get a small look at the epic battle between the werewolves and vampires, which as all you guys know, brings the Cullens and Jacob’s pack together against one common enemy. We get to see a small but kickass glimpse of the werewolves battling it out against the naughty newborn vamps, which you have to admit, looks awesome!
But the big thing the trailer doesn’t show is the one thing nearly all Twilight fans want to see – the kiss! You guys know exactly what kiss I am talking about. Anyone else as excited as I am for that one scene? Eeee!
Even though Eclipse doesn’t hit theaters until June 30 (sooo long!), the fans can look forward to the May 13 episode of Oprah’s talk show, when Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will all be paying a visit. Woo!
So what do you guys think of the new trailer? Are you looking forward to this flick more than the past Twilight movies? Personally I am way more excited about this one than I was for the last two, probably because of the kiss and the fact that we get to see way more wolf action.
