Trailer For Foreign 3-D Werewolf Flick ‘Synevir’ Released

There’s a new werewolf film on the way! The flick is titled Synevir and it’s coming all the way to the US from Ukraine. An English-subbed trailer for Synevir, Alexandr and Vyacheslav Aleshechkin’s 3-D Ukrainian werewolf movie, has been released for all of the horror lovin’ fans of foreign films. Check out the details and trailer below!

“Famous lake in Carpathian mountains — lake Synevir — is known for its rich history throughout the hundreds of years as a place of mystical unexplained events. There is a group of students who decided to spend a weekend at the lake. They did not believe in those stories about lake Synevir and the strange creatures around it. Too bad for them…”

Check out the trailer:

The film is in 3D and will be premiering in a theatrical release within the Ukraine. The regular 2D version will premiere at the 6th Annual B-Movie Celebration’s Film Festival to be held in Columbus, Indiana during September 2012.

Anyone in the Columbus area thinking about heading to the festival? If you don’t live in the area and this flick comes out here on DVD will you give it a watch?

Personally, I will pass on it. It’s not that it looks terrible (it’s definitely B-grade though), it’s just that I am not usually a fan of foreign films. I love to read, but not during movies. I do like that it’s set in the Carpathian mountains though, seeing how many folktales involving the supernatural are set in those dark, mysterious woods. A perfect location for a werewolf movie.
