I am human and I do not fear what I do not know or understand. I instead go out and try to find as much honest information as I can on topics I am not familiar with. I end up reading stories like this one, but it leaves me with more questions then answers. Yes humans are monsters, at least that’s my opinion, but not all. Yes, a rather large group of us react with violence when faced with that of which we are unfamiliar, but again, not all. I have said what I wanted. Continue with your daily lives.

This is for wilddeath. I am a werewolf going off on a limb to explain to you why we hide. Angel is correct in saying that humans will try to kill us off and here is why. Man fear what he does not understand and werewolves are most definatly feared. And i understand why. If I was still human I would be afraid too. Actually I would be terrified. Back in the day when humans all over the world were burning and haning human in accusation of being werewolves, they actually killed many werewolves in the process. We were pushed to the brink of extintion but being as hardy as we are we survived. Barely. As for Angels question about silver. Moonlight makes a good statment and to be truthful I do not know why silver kills us it just does. It only affects us though if you hit vital spots in our body as well as if you were to kill any animal but it has to first pass through skin. You would have to either be shoot from far away or be one damned lucky human to get that far.

I say that is a ture story and never ever piss off a werewolf. In my theory, I say that this story is so mind-thrilling delicious, & brilliant! btw, if there are any real werewolves out there, just keep it a secret cause for right now, you don’t need to show it. We will be ready when the human are ready for us to show ourselves to them. But that time is not now.

There are a lot of different theories and myths and we can’t really say what it true and what isn’t.

Here is what we do know…
Some people believe that silver is the earthly symbol for the moon and only a part of the moon can kill a werewolf. So only silver, which has connections to the moon like a were does, can kill it.

Back in the day silver bullets or any weapon of silver was thought to be effective against werewolves (also some vampires). The idea was that the only thing that could kill a werewolf while he was in wolf form was a weapon of silver. The werewolf’s vulnerability to silver actually dates back to the legend of the Beast of Gévaudan, in which a gigantic wolf is killed by a person wielding a gun loaded with silver bullets.
There are other folk tales as well that involve werewolves and other beasties being taken down with silver too.

We can’t know for sure if silver does work since every culture tends to have it’s own myths and beliefs.

if werewolves showed themselves, wilddeath, since most humans are such jerks they’ll start gettin the wrong ideas and try to kill off all the werewolves. so the werewolves hide in safty to protect themselves from extinction, then they will be a myth. isn’t it enough they have to deal with the vampires? they protect humans while the vampires try to feed on us! werewolves, for now, already have big matters on there hands, don’t try pushing it.

wow….my ansesters are from France….i would never piss of a werewolf though some people would……….wolves are my fav. animals so I try to learn as much as posible….but its never a success……..sucks huh……….werewolves should not have to hide.they should be aloud to do anything they want…….as long as they’re carefull……..I would never want anything to happen to the wolves and werewolves in the world………..
