Sure, Leo doesn’t exactly look or act like he’s on the werewolf side of things, but you won’t believe the surprises he has in store for us. Gasp! The screenwriter of Orphan, –that crazy kick ass movie that had a twist I sure as hell didn’t see coming, –David Leslie Johnson, will be handling a new Little Red Riding Hood movie, with a Gothic twist. And who do we have to thank? Leonardo DiCaprio, according to Dave McNary at Variety online:
“Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way banner is developing a Gothic reimagining of “Little Red Riding Hood” with screenwriter David Leslie Johnson.
The Warner Bros.-based banner partnered with Johnson on horror pic “Orphan,” which has grossed $28 million in its first 11 days.
The “Red Riding Hood” project’s been developed internally at Appian Way but isn’t being positioned as a possible acting vehicle for DiCaprio.
…
Appian Way is partnered with Phoenix Pictures on Paramount’s upcoming thriller “Shutter Island,” starring DiCaprio and directed by Martin Scorsese.”
Aww, come on, I’d love to see DiCaprio in a horror movie. Has he ever actually been in a horror film? Someone find out for me! Anyway, I think it’s a true test of acting ability, and you know, I want to see DiCaprio kick monster ass!
