A couple of nights ago Jay Leno had a very funny part of his segment Dealing with the Public. This is actually Part 2 of the segment as Jay has done one in the past. But this one was HYSTERICAL and you can check it out on Hulu here.
In the clip, Leno talks about the stupid reasons that people have for calling 911 and someone calls in because he thinks he’s turning into a werewolf. Now I’m not saying that I think it’s funny that someone thinks he’s turning into a werewolf and that it’s scaring the bejeezuz out of him. But I do think it’s hysterical that he thinks that Pepto Bismol will help him. Hmmm…I thought the Pepto song included “nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea.” I don’t recall there ever being anything about werewolf cures in there. And what’s even funnier is that the dude thought he needed to call 911 to get his hands on any Pepto! Especially considering that there was someone else in the house with him. Why not just have your friend go get you some?
The dispatcher does sound a little skeptical as to whether or not she believes the man is actually turning into a werewolf, especially when she speaks to his friend who claims that he ‘just woke up.’ Well yeah, I would imagine so. All that transformation gets to be a little loud sometimes. It ends with dispatch sending someone out to make sure that everything was okay and we do sincerely hope that everyone was okay. And I guess we all learned something too. That there might be a very easy solution to being a werewolf. Who woulda thunk it?
I’m not really a big fan of stupid people or Jay Leno, for that matter. But this was funny as hell!
