It’s not easy being a noob werewolf, and Craig makes that painfully obvious. Trapped in a mutual lease with his deranged werewolf roommate Brett, it isn’t long before “gets down with the sickness” as well. Soon, he’s chewing on people, and experiencing a little trouble with his girlfriend. She’s pretty understanding though, being a vampire and all. Is this the latest teeny bopper movie about vampire + werewolf + human romance? Nope, it’s an awesome webseries from AbsoluteDisaster.com called “Craig and the Werewolf.” The show is sort of a… coming of age tale for young werewolfs everywhere that need motivation, and role models. The show explains the basics, like, how to dispose of bodies, not to overeat when consuming human flesh, –important stuff like that.

Oh and of course, never date a vampire. Brett Register, one of the actors in, and a creator of the series, is here to tell a little bit more about this deliriously funny web-series.

Q. Was there any inspiration from the latest trendy fascination with vampires and werewolves?

A. I’ve always been a huge fan of both vampires and werewolves, and my creative style is to try and take something not funny and find a way to make it a comedy. This idea came out of the blue as I wanted to do an off beat roommate comedy with something just a little extra involved.

Q. What prompted the creation of the show?

Mainly just the simple desire to do another show. I have created several web-series and I was looking to do something that would be easy to shoot and still funny. I also just have always wanted to work in the world of vampires and werewolves, however so far the budgets have held me back – so this is kind of a first step in the water kind of situation for me as a filmmaker.

Q. Who do you think would win in a fight: vampires or werewolves?

I’ve got to give it to the werewolves – I mean at the end of the day they both have their weaknesses, but the werewolves just seem a little more on the brute force side, while the vampires move around all stealthy trying to find a neck to bite, the werewolves would just attack.

Q. Is there going to be a third season? If so, can you give us a hint as to what’s going to happen to Craig next?

There will be a third season – The only hint I can give is that the werewolves and vampires are not happy about Craig and Haley’s new relationship… do with that information what you will!
