Andrea Cremer’s ‘Nightshade’ Sequel on the Way!

Bestselling author Andrea Cremer struck gold with her young adult werewolf novel Nightshade. Praised for her rich storytelling and her fascinating characters, readers fell in love with her world of werewolves. Now her fans have more to enjoy, for the second book in the series, Wolfsbane, is coming to bookstores July 26, 2011! Yes, that’s quite a long wait, but it’s still exciting!

Check out the details Wolfsbane:

“This thrilling sequel to the much-talked-about Nightshade begins just where it ended. Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemy, and she’s certain her days are numbered. But then the Searchers make her an offer, one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack, and the man she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive.”

Sounds fantastic! Also, I am in LOVE with the cover of the book! I am such a fan of artwork, especially cover art, and Wolfsbane has a gorgeous and eye-catching cover, just like Nightshade did. So major props to the designer of these covers.

Also, if you’re curious about what else Andrea Cremer has in store for her fans then check out the interview I did with her here. When I asked her about future books she gave us the dates for all of the upcoming books, including a prequel!

“Nightshade is a trilogy. The second book, Wolfsbane, will be in stores July 12, 2011. Book 3, Bloodrose, is due out spring 2012. After that I have a fourth book, which is a prequel to the series, and it will be published in the fall of 2012.”

Awesome right? So, are those of you who read Nightshade excited to read Wolfsbane? Do you recommend the series? Let us know in a comment below!
