A New Classic Monster Mashup: ‘The Call of the Wild Werewolf’ by Jack London & Carl Waters

“…Buck Miller, the son of a wealthy judge and raisin farmer, pursues gold riches in the Klondike. Before he reaches his destination, Buck is kidnapped by vampires, turned into a werewolf, and forced to work as the vampire’s sled dog.”

Deciding to leave his easy life in Santa Clara Valley, Buck Miller, the son of a wealthy judge and raisin farmer, pursues gold riches in the Klondike. Before he reaches his destination, Buck is kidnapped by vampires, turned into a werewolf, and forced to work as the vampire’s sled dog.Bummer; what sucks more than being not only a vampire slave? A vampire slave that has to actually work his ass off in an active positive that requires a lot of running and work… what sucks more than that? Working a lot, while in werewolf form, and constantly having to run with the other denizens of the wolf community in the Klondike region.

I don’t generally like this new trend in taking classic novels of romance and adventure, and then turning them into paranormal fiction; like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies for existence. And of course, who could forget, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Lamer movies and books are not known at this time, but don’t worry. We at Werewolves are especially observant and won’t shove mediocrity down your throat every chance we get. Check of the blurb on the source and tell me: would you read it?
